Relay for Life (Update)

Friday marked 2 weeks since I registered our team for this summer's "Relay for Life". I set my personal goal at $150 and thanks to very generous folks, I've received $140 in sponsorships!

Our team has a modest goal to raise $1500 -- we currently have 6 registered walkers and have raised $330. We meet tomorrow for a BYOL (bring your own lunch) to talk about the fun stuff! Fundraisers and decorating for the big event.

The theme for this year's event is "Playing Games for a Cure"...we appropriately picked the Game of LIFE.



Our agency provides an array of services to children ages 0-18 and changes one life at a time.

Relay for Life

January marks the anniversary of when two of our loved ones lost their personal battles with Cancer. My mother fought Ovarian Cancer for two years and my Sister (in-law) had an 18 month fight with Inflammatory Breast Cancer.

This June 25th and June 26th, I will be participating in the American Cancer Society's 25th Relay for Life event in Meadville, PA.
